The successful completion of the ChainMaster / MOVEKET Safety, Repair & Maintenance Training provides participants with the theoretical and practical knowledge required to professionally perform maintenance, servicing, inspection, and repair tasks on electric chain hoists.

Furthermore, the training fulfills the essential technical requirements for acting as a Competent Person (Sachkundiger) for lifting equipment in accordance with DGUV Regulation 54. Participants acquire comprehensive knowledge of the design, functionality, maintenance, servicing, wear assessment, inspection, testing, and documentation of lifting equipment and are able to apply this knowledge within the scope of their operational responsibilities.

In conjunction with the professional qualifications, practical experience, and employer authorization required by the applicable regulations, this training can therefore serve as the technical foundation for appointment as a Competent Person for lifting equipment in accordance with DGUV Regulation 54.

The training content is also particularly relevant for personnel who operate, inspect, maintain, or repair lifting equipment in industrial environments, the entertainment and event industry, exhibition construction, theatre and studio operations, as well as within the scope of DGUV Regulations 17/18 and the qualification requirements defined by IGVW.

Note: The appointment as a Competent Person or Qualified Inspector is always made by the respective employer based on the applicable legal and operational requirements, as well as the individual qualifications and experience of the person concerned.
